Wholesale Factory Misrepresentation of purchased goods. Rye, New York
On 12/28/2012 I ordered an Otterbox Defender Case for my iPhone 5. In the product description it talked about the features and materials of the product. Under materials is this; "Rotating belt holster attaches to almost anything and can accommodate the device in any direction. Face the screen outward for quick access or face it inward for ultimate protection."
I received my purchase, (i guess i'm lucky according to other posts here) today, 01/14/2013. I opened the package and I did get the case, the problem is, it was in a generic clear pouch with no holster.
I tried to use their e-mail addy on their website, but the link won't open on either e-mail provided.
This sort of thing used to happen a lot on mail order items like camera "kits". They would open the sealed kit from the manufacturer and take out the parts like straps, batteries, and the like, and resell them separately. Looks like this company still does business in that manner. I will never purchase from them again!
