Kirby Center Of Pike County & Kirby Company (parent Company) fraud, thieves, liars, useless, abusive, unprofessional, immoral, unethical Lords Valley Pennsylvania
Bought a Kirby vaccuum from the immoral salesperson Aron Feldstein of the Kibry Center of Pike County. I exercised my right to return the product for a full refund within the 3 day time period provided for by federal law. The disrespectful owner of this Kirby distributor, Anthony Euichin, absolutely refused to refund my money saying he was broke because his fiance Dominique Landriscina was pregnant.
I sent this notice via certified mail because the Kirby Company in Ohio won't do a thing about it unless you can prove you sent it. It's their deplorable way of ripping people off. The Kirby Company (manufacturer of the product) emailed me and basically said they won't refund the money and that the distributors were independant so they could act fraudulently and violate the terms of the contract. Ergo, Kirby Company is not be liable but they would "ask" the distributor to refund me my money.
Kirby Company allows criminals to sell their products and they do little to monitor or rectify the illegal, fraudulent, criminal practices of their independent distributors. The main company is as dispicable as the distributors and sales people. Don't buy a Kirby because of the name or how long the company has been around. The name means nothing as the distributors have zero to do with Kirby!

The owner, Anthony, of Kirby Center of Pike County came to my house personally. He refunded my purchase amount 100% and picked up his product. This consumer is now satisfied.

If you purchased the Kirby at his normal business location, you are out of luck. The "3 day cooling off rule" primarily deals with purchases and contracts that are made in your home or at a location away from the seller's normal place of business. You can review the applicability of this "cooling off rule" and obtain information on what to do to cancel under this rule at the FTC website: http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/products/pro03.shtm If you have documentation from this seller that clearly states that you have a 3 day cooling off period to cancel the sale, I would file a small claims against him for a full refund plus court costs.
