I started in 2003 with Kirby as a dealer represenative. Became one of the top dealers in the office, then became a team leader and started managing other dealers and helping them accomplish there goals. I then became a DPS for the company and did all the hiring and training. Giving them the same opportunity that was given to me. A business i love that changed my life. I then became a dt and ran my own branch for the company and later became a factory distributor and the traveled as a consultant.
Ive been on multiple paid vacations, won awards and have made a ton of money. Here i am 11 years later and still absolutley love this business. I'm training for the company right now and ill make right around $100,000 this year.
We show our checks to people in this office and do everything we can to train and develop our new people to our future leaders.unfortunatley this is not a factory or walmart or Mcdonalds type of position its different. The kirby company just had its 100th yr anniversary. Company dont stay around a century because they rip people off. There are programs that must be followed. Its like working out, everyone wants a great body but they dont wanna follow the programs it takes and put in the work it takes to accomplish the individuals goals.
I encourage anyone who wants a great opportunity to check out any Kirby office and see if its the type of company you would like to work for and move up in with a career mindset because its far more than just a job. Job stand for just over broke. This opportunity is far more than just a job.

I responded to an email, much like everyone else. They pulled me in, said I had the job, and that I have a second interview Tuesday at 2:00 PM. So I'm on my way, and find out he left me a voicemail, rudely saying my interview was now changed to tomorrow, and he mentioned the kirby group. So I come home, search it on ripoff report, and thank you very much. I can't afford to get scammed by another employer. I do appreciate it.

It was 2 weeks before christmas I had a new baby no money no husband and answered a job ad for cleaning carpets. It was 2 days into trainnig I found out I was working for Kirby. I was dissapointed. I tried to overlook all the negative horrible things all my friends and family had said about the way they opperate and even talked to the division suppervisor about this matter, she inisisted that this kirby company was ran diffrently. Yeah right! I did my demos showed up on time paid for a babysitter for my baby with money I had to borrow from my sister, and in the end I lost over 300 borrowed dollars. And chriostmas passed with no money for presents and my childs first christmas was ruined by kirby. I cried each night and felt horrible for lying to people to get them to buy this product. Im bi polor and even I wouldnt pay 2000 for it. Karma is wonderful though. I did however love the machine, never got paid by the company ever and got left in the ghetto of houston tx to fend for myself after a crabby team leader decided to tell me I wasnt kirby material. pfft. but yeah I just found a 2001 model at a flea market in nashville tn for 30 and bought it. haha. This experience was just a life lesson. now im remmarried to a wonderful man have good money and if a kirby rep ever comes to my door im going to tell him the truth about kirby and tell him they rip off everyone it dont matter what independent whatever they tell you. very few people actually make any money from the company. if any. and then show him the 30 flea market find. and laugh.
