So I was looking for a job and answered an ad in the local News-Times for a company looking for employee's. I was immediately called in to an interview. After filling out an application, I met the recruiter, Mike. When asked what was being sold, he was quite vague and stated that it was for a company called Sentria, part of the Kirby company that made power equipment like leaf blowers and such.

I was skeptical but was being promised $475 a week with no sales requirement. So the next day when I started orientation what was the power equipment? None other than a Kirby vacuum which I was then subjected to a sales pitch at 90 miles per hour. (Had to wonder if he was on anything to tell you the truth). I was promised many benefits about 1-3 an hour. Questioning raised issues with Mike as he was quick to dismiss them.

I was taught how to trick people into buying this item with different sneaky ways that really just pissed me off. And to top it off i was to find 6-10 people I knew to "get acquainted with the equipment" which the next day turned into selling to them.

All in all, the vacuum seemed like a great product but in reality, the $2,000 price tag was way extreme and the sales tactics with no ethics attached really wasn't going to happen.

My advice to you is when you are approached by these people don't listen and don't let them in. They will pull every trick in the book to sell you one of these. And yes they will finance for you. Great now you can go into debt over a stupid vacuum cleaner.
