Purchased a Victorinox WT 24 Expandable Upright a number of years ago. On a recent trip where the bag was handled by both the airline and cruise personel the main nylon zipper failed.
Remembering that a waranty might be in effect I hopped onto the internet and located the TRG Group. My phone call to them was a very pleasent experience, a rarity these days. The customer service rep was pleasant and precise. I received my RMA niumber and shipped the bag to them, at my expense. I was hoping for a repair to my bag of choice.
A few days later I received the following email:
Dear Valued Victorinox Customer -
We have received your Victorinox Travel Gear in our repair center and have begun the process of
evaluating your item.
Any defects in materials and workmanship covered under warranty will be repaired by 3/13/14.
Please allow an additional 3-5 days for return shipping.
Should it be determined that the damage to your Victorinox Travel Gear is a result of wear and tear and
that your item can be repaired for a nominal charge, we will contact you to discuss repair options.
Please feel free to contact our Customer Service department at (DELETED) with any questions.
We value your loyalty and look forward to the opportunity to serve you.
